On Saturday June 9th, from 11am-2pm Kathleen will be in-house answering any questions and demonstrating the different processes involved with crafting felted pictures and vessels from start to finish. Come on by with your curiosity and questions! Kathleen is our first guest speaker in our "Series of Excellence" Summer Lecture Series, on June 4th from 7:00pm-8:00pm in the Fireside Room at the Chase House, located at 312 Daniel Webster Highway in Meredith. Saturdays, June 2nd & 9th
10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Students will learn how to create paper mache sculptures in this two day workshop. Starting with a flying cat to outline the basics, students will then progress onwards to an animal of their choice. The cat will be fully finished and the second on its way to perfection - from there you will only be limited by your imagination!
Students should bring a pair of needle-nose/wire-cutting pliers, some imagination, and be ready to laugh.
Bring a lunch, drinks, and snacks as well - the workshop runs a full 8 hours each session.
Tuition is $95.00 per student, with an additional $15.00 materials fee to be paid to the instructor at the time of the first class. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required.
