Description: This course focuses on making functional pieces, allowing you to create personalized spaces that are hospitable and inviting. With just a few pieces, you can create spaces that encourage relationship and transformative conversations. Designed to include those who have never used the wheel or who are working on basic skills, this class is for beginners and intermediate throwers. The course includes wedging, centering clay, throwing basic bowl and cylinder forms, surface techniques, finishing and glazing. Because classes are small, potters receive substantial individual attention.
